David Harris, an iconic movie actor with roles in The Warriors and many other films of the 1950s-1980s — including as Cochise himself! His daughter confirmed his death.

Among the most iconic moments in cinema history is Harris’s turn as Cochise, a kind of flamboyant and magnetic general for the Warriors gang. His unforgettably grimacing facial expression, turquoise necklace and red bandanna only added to the mystique.

Outside of The Warriors, Harris also had a lengthy film and television career which saw him perform in various films throughout the 70s-80s. Not just a loss for the entertainment community, an American cinéaste is gone too.
