Against the UCF Knights, the Cougars pulled out a fake field goal in one of BYU’s most creative offensive plays. This creative play took the college football world by storm and rapidly entered viral status.

First snap: LS to holder, who then snapped it again back Griffey Hill!!! (K) Will Ferrin
How It Came to Be: Instead of booting the field goal, Ferrin went for a run and wound up picking it up on his feet.
The double-snap trick play was also called and fooled the UCF players executed brilliantly. That was a gamble BYU’s coaches were willing to make and weren’t afraid to color outside the lines of football strategy
