Week 8 Showdown: Bills Dominate Seahawks

Buffalo, NY– The Buffalo Bills are well and truly back in Week 8 after beating the Seattle Seahawks convincingly on Sunday Night Football. This blowout victory highlighted the offensive capabilities — to go along with a dominant defensive effort — of one of the best teams in football.

Josh Allen Shines

Energy and pace driven by the Bills’ own superb quarterback, Josh Allen. He found Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis multiple times over the top. His value as a quarterback that could evade the pass rush while maintaining poise was vital to their success.

Defensive Dominance

The Seahawks, on the other hand, couldn’t get anything going all afternoon against Buffalo’s defense. They managed a pass rush on Geno Smith and force him to play less than perfect. The d-line lived in Seattle’s backfield and secondary was that tight man coverage, no matter where Wilson went with ball.
A Look Ahead

The win surely helps solidify the Bills chances of playing into late January. They will continue to have difficult challenges in front of them as the season goes on, but their victory over Seattle has provided some serious momentum for the rest of 2020.

The Seahawks, however…. they have some work to do coming off that kind of performance. Well, isvt looks as though the Mountaineers’ high-powered offense with Geno Smith at the helm needs to bring a little more consistency in order to play toe-to-toe with elite competition.
